BRAHMA S.p.A. crede nel miglioramento continuo della qualità dei processi aziendali e nel rispetto assoluto per l’ambiente, la sicurezza e la salute delle persone e degli animali domestici. Per questo opera secondo un Sistema Qualità ed è certificata secondo la UNI EN ISO 9001:2015.

La Direttiva Europea 2011/65/EU, emendata dalla Direttiva Delegata 2015/863/EU, comunemente nota come RoHS3 (Restriction of Hazardous Substances), impone delle restrizioni nella costruzione di apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche relativamente all’uso di piombo, mercurio, cadmio, cromo esavalente, i ritardanti di fiamma PBB e PBDE, e gli ftalati DEHP, BBP, DBP e DIBP. La Direttiva RoHS è stata adottata dall’Unione Europea nel febbraio 2003 ed è diventata completamente effettiva dal 1° luglio 2006.

Il Regolamento (CE) n. 1907/2006 del Parlamento Europeo e del Consiglio del 18 dicembre 2006 concernente la registrazione, la valutazione, l'autorizzazione e la restrizione delle sostanze chimiche (REACH) è a tutti gli effetti entrato in vigore il 1° giugno 2007. In riferimento a quanto previsto dal Regolamento REACH, BRAHMA S.p.A. non produce né importa sostanze chimiche; tuttavia, in qualità di utilizzatore a valle di materie prime, collabora con i propri fornitori per ottenere una corretta applicazione del regolamento REACH. Per quanto concerne le sostanze chimiche per le quali rimane alto il livello di allerta (‘Substances of Very High Concern’ SVHC e allegati XVII e XIV), BRAHMA S.p.A. richiede a tutti i propri fornitori che le stesse non vengano utilizzate nei materiali da essi forniti.

By the end of the sixties, with the development of the oil burner market in Italy, Brahma extended their sales area and acquired several major Customers.
In the seventies, the Company enlarged their production, including a complete range of oil and gas burner control units and components suitable for any application required in the market.
In the following twenty years, the quality and reliability of Brahma products enabled the Company to gain high esteem in the heating field, achieving the absolute leadership in the national market and promoting their sales in over 50 foreign Countries.
In 1995, Brahma obtained the “CE” marking for their products. In 1998, the Company received from the GASTEC Institute the certification of their Quality System according to the Standard UNI EN ISO 9001, and afterwards they were among the first Italian companies to obtain the certification according to the new Standard UNI EN ISO 9001: 2000 (Vision 2000) and UNI EN ISO 9001:2008.
Being aware of the importance of improving design and production technologies, Brahma enlarged their Research and Development Department with particular attention to test laboratories: the combustion laboratory is equipped to test, modify and improve Brahma devices according to Customers’ applications; the approval laboratory, provided with equipment calibrated in compliance with European standards, is useful to carry out all tests laid down by the standards EN 298 for gas appliances, and EN 230 for oil appliances.
Thanks to this philosophy, during the nineties Brahma’s position became stronger and stronger also in the market of atmospheric gas burner control units and components, and the Company became significantly involved in the technological development of products for domestic and industrial applications.
In 2001, in order to face the third millennium challenges in the best way and meet growing customers’ requirements, Brahma considerably strengthened their production capacity with two additional manufacturing plants and add a third in 2007, thus reaching a total production area of 37.000 m2, of which 18.000 approx. are covered.

Brahma joins the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance
Legnago (VR), Italy, 13 September 2021 — Brahma S.p.A brings to European Clean Hydrogen Alliance its expertise in research and development as one of its newest members. Brahma group based in Legnago has in fact been selected to become part of the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance ( || here the complete list of members) that aims at an ambitious deployment of hydrogen technologies by 2030, bringing together renewable and low-carbon hydrogen production; its demand in the industry, the mobility and other sectors; and its transmission and distribution. With the alliance, the EU wants to build its global leadership in this area to support the EU’s commitment to reach carbon neutrality by 2050.
Brahma S.p.A., founded in 1956, supplies world class products and can support the HVAC industry in the development of solutions to simplify the transition to hydrogen with its deep know-how in electronics and mechanics applied to combustion. Our approach is based on design and innovation applied both to the components and to the whole system. Brahma wants to be part of the hydrogen transition by creating smart solutions for a more sustainable world. While the green revolution in the automotive industry will be electric, in the HVAC industry hydrogen will allow such evolution and ecological transition.
